  20. GENERAL NOTES
  21. This disc contains all  you  need  to design  great  looking "MEDIA Labels"
  22. and  'Jewel Case'  inserts on your MAC.
  23.  
  24. LABELS
  25. For best results, care should be taken when storing  and handling  all
  26. labels.  Label stock should be  stored in a  dry, cool place and  should
  27. be allowed 24 hours to acclimatise before printing.
  28.  
  29. Never  run  a  sheet of adhesive  back  paper through  a  laser  printer
  30. more than once as this may cause damage to the printer.
  31.  
  32. CD LABEL APPLICATION 
  33. When removing the  backing  paper  from  the  label,  place  the  label
  34. sheet  face  down  on  a  flat  surface and peel  a small portion of the
  35. label from the backing paper.  Hold the label in place and  gently peel
  36. the backing paper from the label.
  37.      
  38. Place  the  label around the CD CD LabelMaker's  piston with the  
  39. adhesive side up.  Place the CD on the  CD LabelMaker with the side 
  40. to be labeled facing  down.  Press gently  on  the  piston  until the  CD  comes  
  41. into contact with the label. Release the piston and remove the labeled CD.     
  42.  
  43. IMPORTANT:
  44. Smooth  out  the  label  with  gentle  radial motions moving from the
  45. inside hole of the CD outwards.  Continue  all around the disc.  
  46.  
  47. Depending  on  temperature  and  humidity,  the  adhesive  may   take
  48. several hours to completely set. Once set, the adhesive is permanent.  
  49.  
  50. JEWEL CASE INSERTS and INLAY CARDS
  51. Jewel  Case  inserts  and  inlay  cards  are provided one set per sheet
  52. of  A4 (Letter size in North America).  The  sheets are pre-perforated
  53. for ease of use.  
  54.  
  55. First, fold  along the  micro-perforations that run from the top to the
  56. bottom of the sheet on either side  of  the Insert and inlay Card.  Then
  57. gently tear  along  these  lines.  Remove the  insert and  inlay card  by
  58. folding and gently tearing along the remaining micro-perforations.  
  59.  
  60. PLEASE NOTE:
  61. The inlay card  has two  6mm spine  areas that  fold  along  their  own
  62. perforations.  Do not tear these perforations.

  126. 2) Design Templates for MAC and PC
  127. The templates included on this compact disc are seperated into
  128. two  subdirectories -  one  for  MAC  and   the  other   for   PC
  129. compatibles.  The templates may  be used  directly  from  this
  130. disc or they may be copied to your hard drive.

  132. For complete instructions on how to  use the templates, please
  133. see  the  'readme.txt'  files  that   appear  in  the  MAC  and   PC
  134. subdirectories on this compact disc.

  137. 3) Clip Art
  138. This disc contains sample clip art for MAC and PC each in their
  139. own subdirectory.  It is supplied in supplied in Windows bitmap
  140. (.BMP) format for PC and either JPEG,  PICT (PCT) or  TIFF (TIF)
  141. files for Mac.  The  artwork  may be  imported into  any  of  the 
  142. templates provided on this disc.
